Bonnie stared at the envelope with a sigh. Up until last few days she had not even given their offer serious consideration.

I don't know if I can do this anymore! Bonnie thought, images of Kitt's mangled body with Michael laying trapped within fluttering in her mind. She squeezed her eyes closed, hoping to get rid of the images, but to no avail. Bonnie leaned onto the desk, her head leaning onto her clenched hand. The envelope crinkling as her fist tightened.

"Bonnie are you all right?" Kitt said, startling her.

Bonnie sat up immediately, quickly wiping the tears that threatened to fall. "What Kitt?" She said, sniffing slightly, trying to regain composure.

"I said are you alright?" Kitt repeated, pulling closer to the desk.

"I'm fine Kitt," Bonnie replied, her eyes threatening to tear up again.

"You do not appear to be fine," Kitt responded, not believing her.

Bonnie sighed, knowing that Kitt would not give up until she told him what was wrong. "I don't know if I can do this anymore," Bonnie said, repeating her earlier thoughts.

"Do what?" Kitt asked, confused.

"This," Bonnie said, sweeping her hand across the room. "Working with FLAG, repairing you." The last part was said at the barest whisper, just barely discernible to Kitt.

"Bonnie, does this have to do with what happened to Michael and me?" Kitt questioned.

"Yes! It came to such a shock when we found you! It never fully registered that the work you did was dangerous. I mean I knew it was dangerous, but life threatening?" Bonnie continued. "It was at that moment it came crashing down on me, you could die! I don't know if I can live with that! Working on you, knowing that one day you might not come back! Either of you." Bonnie said, finally giving into her tears.

"Are you absolutely sure you want to leave?" Devon asked, setting Bonnie's bag on the gravel in front of the mansion.

"Yes, I'm sure," Bonnie replied. "I can't handle it right now, maybe some time in the future."

"Well, if I can't persuade you to stay," Devon said, pulling Bonnie into a hug. "We are all going to miss you."

Bonnie smiled, letting Devon go. "I know you are going to have a hard time finding a replacement on such short notice," Bonnie said, reaching into her bag and pulling out a folder. "We use to work together. Her name is April Curtis, and she is very good at what she does," Bonnie explained, handing Devon the folder.

"Thank you, I'll look it over," Devon replied.

Bonnie turned to where Michael was standing, "Michael, I know I haven't been the nicest to you since you started working here," Bonnie paused. "I'm sorry for that and I hope you accept my apology."

Michael smiled slightly. "Apology excepted," he said, pulling her into a hug as well. "I'm going to miss you."

"Thank you, I'm going to miss all of you," Bonnie replied, letting go. She turned to Kitt, "I'm sorry I can't stay Kitt."

"That's all right, I understand," Kitt said sadly.

"Goodbye," Bonnie said, grabbing her bags and getting into the waiting taxi.

Devon, Michael, and Kitt watched as her cab pulled out on to the road.

"Do you think she will be back?" Michael commented.

"I don't know," Devon replied, turning and walking into the mansion, Michael following close behind.

"I hope she does." Kitt whispered sadly, his scanners firmly locked onto Bonnie's taxi until it finally slipped off his scanning range.
